It's hard to believe that March is here & we will officially be into Spring in just 2 weeks. Where does the time go? Not only are we heading into Spring - but Easter is just around the corner...in fact, one month from Sunday. We, as a church, have an incredible opportunity to reach our community Easter weekend. I want to invite you to jump on board as we take on our 2nd annual "Lake Stevens Community Egg Hunt" at Cedar Springs Camp. You're not going to want to miss out on this fun event. Not only will there be a giant egg hunt for kids ages 0-6th grade - but there will also be prizes, BBQ'd hamburgers & hotdogs & there will be many family activities open for everyone to enjoy. This year we will be having the egg hunt on Saturday, April 3rd & will then have an opportunity to invite people back to church with us the next day, April 4th. Here's where we need your help... 1.) We need LOTS of candy and plastic eggs. Please bring your donations on Sundays or feel free to drop them by the church office during the week. 2.) Financial gifts. If you're able to give financially - please mark your Sunday envelope "Easter". This will help us purchase the needed supplies for food, extra candy & prizes.
3.) Event help. We will definitely need help with many areas at the event - but even more than that - we want you to be here loving on the wonderful people of Lake Stevens. This is going to be a fun day - so invite everyone you can think of & join us on Saturday, April 3rd at Cedar Springs Camp.

I want to personally invite all of you to join us this Sunday, March 7th, for one of our 9:30 or 11:00AM services at the Boys & Girls Club. We will be finishing up with our last message in the Beatitudes series entitled, "When Your Faith is Under Attack". This Sunday we will also be taking communion together. Communion is not supposed to be something we do once or twice a year (Easter & Christmas), but something we do often to remember what Christ has done for us. Jesus said in Luke 22:19b (NIV), "...do this in remembrance of me." So join us this Sunday as we worship together.
