A Church On The Move!

I think that is an accurate assessment of who we are and what we are about.  God clearly invites you and me to ‘do His work’, and when that work is completed, He will return for those who know Him.  So, translate that into our church’s situation.  We are all about knowing God more clearly, and loving people more dearly.

Last Sunday was just a glimpse of the scope of our church’s influence.  We had scores of people attend our services for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed their worship experience with us.  Here are just a few comments I personally received:

-          “My kids had the best experience in kids church that they have had all their life.”  That is no small statement in that this family has recently attended a church of over 1,200 on a regular basis, with full time children’s staff and beautiful facilities.  He went on to say that their kids are dying to come again!

-          “We felt incredibly loved and welcomed.  This church screamed, we love you, and love serving Jesus”. They were overwhelmed by how many people have their ‘fingerprints’ on what happens.  He said the ‘team’ approach to serving God is apparent.

-          “The ambiance was very nice.  I can’t believe how nice you’ve made it look in that gym.  The black wall, the flowers, the signs, it was all so nicely packaged.”

-          “The feel was so very personal!  Keep it up.”

I am so proud of each and every one of you.  God is blessing our service to Him, we cannot lose sight of that.  So many people serve God in too many ways to list…but please, rest assured…God notices and will bless us in accordance with our faithfulness to Him.

What Next?  There are two opportune times folks are open to attending church.  Do you know them?  Christmas & Easter, and Easter is only three weeks away.  Our plan is to re-invite everyone that was with us in church last week, and then to reach out to those who may not have attended with us last Sunday.

Be in prayer for who you will invite to one of our three Easter services this year.
