As I write this e-bulletin greeting to you this week, I just want to remind us all that “God is a good God”. Warning! This phrase has become rather cliché in our “Christian Culture”, and even spills over into the, “Religious Culture”. But think about it, “God is a good God”, what does that imply? With the events that have transpired over the course of this week at Virginia Tech, the killings in Iraq, the poverty “hidden in plain view” here in the great USA, how can we hang on to the belief that God is good? I must conclude that God is good in both the good times and the bad times. Even though there is evil in the world, remember God is not the source of evil, Satan is. When bad happens, we can always go to God in prayer and seek Him for comfort and peace. (That is what is good about God). Oh yeah, God is also good in that Sanjaya is OFF OF AMERICAN IDOL!! (OK, you can forget I just said that). There are so many good things happening at LSFC over the next few months, please mark your calendars and be a part of something great!
