Greetings Family Church –

Fall is officially here. What a beautiful time of the year, I am staring out of my office window as I write this to you this week. I can’t wait to get out there and log a few running miles in the cool crispness Fall brings.

I want to encourage you as a church family to renew your commitment to God and to His church. We have many upcoming opportunities for you to deepen your commitment to God in and through your church. Here are just a couple:

Share your church with someone. Bring someone to church with you. We exist to extend the love of God to everyone around us, that’s God’s #1 call to you and to me.
Be involved in regular ongoing ministry. Serving alone leads to isolation, we’re better together. Serve in an area that you enjoy. Let us know you’re interested and we’ll help you find your way.

As fall is upon us, we’re under the conviction that this is going to be the “greatest fall of all!”.

	UPCOMING EVENTS One 10:30AM Service October 7^th, we will be having one 10:30AM service at the Boys & Girls Club. Ladies Bible Study "Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit." -Gal. 5:25 Ladies, are you longing for some fellowship and growth? Join us, then for a ladies’ Bible Study beginning Tuesday, September 25^th, 10:30AM-12:00PM at Cedar Springs Camp. (Childcare provided.) Bay~ Isle Fischer will be teaching a Bible Study to baby-step your Christian walk in rhythm with God's Spirit in your every-day life. Lake Stevens Community Kid's Choir Kids – ages K-7^th grade - Join us this Sunday, September 23^rd at 5:00PM, as we have officially launched the 2007/2008 Lake Stevens Community Kids’ Choir. September 16^th at 5:00PM, we will be launching the 2007/2008 Lake Stevens Community Kids’ Choir for grades K-7^th Grade. This past year through Kids’ Convention, Army Camp, Bible Camp & VBS, kids have experienced a taste of the high powered, high energy music that will continue on through this choir. If your kids are in elementary school or the beginning of middle school, they are not going to want to miss out. We will be performing live throughout the year and will head to Imperative Studios (www.imperativestudios.com) in January to record an album. Registration is $30 which includes a t-shirt. New Members Banquet Please Note: Due to some unforeseen circumstances we will not be having the New Members Banquet this Friday. We will keep you updated as to when the next one will be. 2007 Northwest Youth Conference Take a wild, cross-country road trip with an unforgettable cast of characters, all without leaving the Sundome, at the 2007 Northwest Youth Conference. If your kids are between 6^th grade and 12^th grade, they are not going to want to miss this years youth conference. Great worship and speaking geared just for their teenage years. This event is Oct. 12^th – 13^th at the Sundome/fairground in Yakima , WA . Cost is $100 – (include motel and registration) plus food. Do you have a knack for having fun? Does the idea of a carnival make your spine tingle? Well have we have the job for you! Our next event will be a Harvest Carnival held on October 31^st from 6:00-8:00pm at Cedar Springs Camp. There will be games. There will be prizes. There will be candy. Here is your opportunity for you to be involved with something great!!! To make this event as spectacular as we want it to be, there will be a need for a lot of help!
