Greetings Faimly Church-

As I sit and look out my window today – I am once again amazed at the beauty that surrounds us in this great Northwest. As the trees are changing color and leaves are falling, I encourage you to take time to thank God for His creation and take a moment to stand in awe of how great He is.

This Sunday we have a special guest with us, Jerry Dahlberg. You do not want to miss out as he shares an incredible message on the Fragrance of God. This is going to be an incredible Sunday…make sure to bring someone with you. We will continue in our series, “Questions I Have For Jesus” next week (October 14^th) as we answer the question, “Why I trust”.

I want to encourage you in two areas this week:

Next Sunday (October 14^th) is Missions’ Sunday. I encourage you to be faithful in your giving to Missions and your monthly Faith Pledges.
If you are not yet involved in ongoing ministry – I encourage you to get involved. Whether it’s saying “hi” to people as they come to church on Sunday (greeting), or working in the nursery/elementary department, there is a place for everyone to be involved. Not only will you be a blessing to others – but God will bless you for your faithful service to Him.

	UPCOMING EVENTS Communion Sunday Next Sunday, October 14^th, we will be sharing in Communion. This Sunday - Oct. 7th This Sunday, we will be having one 10:30AM service at the Boys & Girls Club. See you there!!! Lake Stevens Community Kid's Choir Kids – ages K-7^th grade - Join us this Sunday, at 5:00PM, as we have officially launched the 2007/2008 Lake Stevens Community Kids’ Choir. This past year through Kids’ Convention, Army Camp, Bible Camp & VBS, kids have experienced a taste of the high powered, high energy music that will continue on through this choir. If your kids are in elementary school or the beginning of middle school, they are not going to want to miss out. We will be performing live throughout the year and will head to Imperative Studios (www.imperativestudios.com) in January to record an album. Registration is $30 which includes a t-shirt. Pray for their safety as they travel and pray that God does incredible things in each of their lives. Harvest Carnival Have you ever wanted to impact a child’s life in a positive way? Do you have a knack for having fun? Does the idea of a carnival make your spine tingle? Well have we have the job for you! Our next event will be a Harvest Carnival held on October 31^st from 6:00-8:00pm at Cedar Springs Camp. There will be games. There will be prizes. There will be candy. Here is your opportunity for you to be involved with something great!!! To make this event as spectacular as we want it to be, there will be a need for a lot of help!
