Greetings Family Church-

I pray you are all having a great week.  This time of year can be extremely busy for most of us; school, sports, work, holidays quickly approaching… It’s amazing how quickly our weeks pass.   I want to encourage you to continue to keep God first in your lives.  Take time to thank Him for his many blessings and praise Him for the life He’s given you.

This Sunday we will continue in our series, “Questions I Have For Jesus” as we answer the question, “Why I trust”.  Don’t miss this Sunday as we wrap up the final message in our series.

I want to encourage you in two areas this week:

  1. If you are not yet involved in ongoing ministry – I encourage you to get involved.  Whether it’s saying “hi” to people as they come to church on Sunday (greeting), or working in the nursery/elementary department, there is a place for everyone to be involved.  Not only will you be a blessing to others – but God will bless you for your faithful service to Him.
  2. Bring someone to church with you.  There are more people in the surrounding communities that are NOT in church on Sundays then there are.  Who do you know that needs to hear about God’s love?  Bring someone with you this week…you will be blessed as you reach out to those around you.  Remember: The best thing you can do for your church is bring someone with you!!

Don’t forget, our Harvest Party is Wednesday, October 31st.  We need lots and lots of Candy!!!

I pray you all have an incredible rest of the week!!!  We’ll see you this Sunday.

Blessings,

Pastor Virgil
