Greetings Family Church-

I pray you are all having a great week so far.  November is here & you only have 53 Shopping days left until Christmas!!!  (Now that October is over…the countdown begins.)  I want to remind you all that this Saturday evening is Daylight Savings Time.  Don’t forget to move your clocks back one hour this Saturday night!!!

This past Wednesday was a huge success as we held our first annual 2007 Pumpkin Patch Party.  I want to say a huge thank you to ALL who volunteered & to all who donated Candy.  We had an incredible time as kids played fun games at all the booths, made carmel apples, Rode horses, climbed up the rock wall, Played miniature golf, had a scavenger hunt, won prizes, and of course went home with LOTS of candy!!!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!  (Check out some of the pictures from the night).

Last Sunday we joined Convoy of Hope & churches across the nation as we began the “One Day to Save The World Campaign.”   “18,000 children under age 5 die of starvation or malnutrition EACH DAY…You do the math.”  Please be in prayer as we continue this campaign through November 18th.  We will be receiving a special offering on the 18th that will go directly to the “one day to save the world” campaign.

This Sunday we will continue in our new series, “What God wants from Me.”  We’ll see you on Sunday – don’t forget to bring someone to church with you this week!!!

Blessings,

Pastor Virgil

Juggling life’s priorities can easily become complicated and complex. But the solutions we look for often cause us to spin even further out of control. In this series, Pastor Virgil takes a closer look at the essentials for a strong Christian life, including building the right friendships, involvement in the local church, developing biblical priorities and taking time to rest. And he shows us that God’s answers to life’s complexities are often simpler than we first thought—it’s all about discovering what God wants from us.
